On Friday we had the honor of welcoming Tara Kingi, Hoop Dancer, to Corral Drive Elementary as part of our celebration of Native American Heritage Month.
Her performance was great and filled with meaning, and our students were captivated by the storytelling woven through her dance. We are grateful for the opportunity to learn from her and to celebrate the rich culture and traditions represented in our community.
We also want to give a special thank-you to our student dancers who opened the program. Your courage and leadership helped make the afternoon even more meaningful for all of us.
